    Description / Table of Contents: Hafniumhaltige Polyäther wurden auf folgendem Weg durch Grenzflächenpolykondensation und durch Polykondensation in Lösung dargestellt: Die thermischen Eigenschaften der Polyäther wurden durch Differentialthermoanalyse und thermogravimetrische Analyse untersucht. Der Abbau erfolgt oberhalb von 200°C in Luft durch Oxydation des verbliebenen Produkts.
    Notes: Hafnium polyethers were synthesized utilizing both the interfacial and aqueous solution techniques: Thermal properteis of the polyethers were studied by DSC and TGA analysis. The products exhibit moderate to poor low and high temperature stabilities. Degradation above 200°C occurs via an oxidative mode in air.

    Notes: Infrared frequency band assignments are given for Group IV A polyesters and polyoxides of the below form: The infrared band assignments are in general agreement with those reported for the corresponding mono- and diesters and oxides. Either or both (d-p)π bonding or sigma electronic inductive and field effects may be responsible for the observed trends.

    Description / Table of Contents: Die Modifizierung von Polyäthylenimin wurde durch Kondensation mit Zinnverbindungen unter Anwendung der Grenzflächentechnik erzielt. Mit R2SnX2 entstehen vernetzte Produkte und mit R3SnX entstehen lineare Produkte mit 30 bis 90% der theoretisch aufnehmbaren Zinnbausteine. Das Maximum an Ausbeute wird bei einminütiger Rührzeit erreicht.
    Notes: Modification of poly(ethylene imine) with tin-containing reactants was effected utilizing the interfacial technique. Products from dihalo reactants are crosslinked while products from monohalo reactants are linear and soluble containing from about 30 to 90% inclusion of the tin-moiety. Yield maximized about one minute stirring time and decreases at higher stirring times because of heat buildup.

    Description / Table of Contents: Die Modifizierung von Polyacrylnitril wurde durch Bildung von Polyacrylamidoxim und nachfolgende Kondensation mit Ti-, Zr- und Hf-Verbindungen durch Anwendung der Grenzflächentechnik erzielt.Die thermischen Eigenschaften dieser Produkte werden angegeben. Der anfänglich bei 200 bis 350 °C erfolgende Abbau verläuft wahrscheinlich über cyclische Produkte, während der Abbau oberhalb 500°C in Luft durch Oxydation des verbliebenen Produktes erfolgt.
    Notes: The modification of poly(acrylonitrile) was effected via formation of poly(acrylamideoxime) followed by condensation with Ti, Zr and Hf compounds. Modification was effected utilizing generally the interfacial technique.Thermal properties are reported. Initial degradation in the 200 to 350°C region probably occurs via the formation of cyclic products whereas at temperatures 〉500°C degradation in air occurs via oxidation of the remaining product.

Das Maximum der Ausbeute wird bei einem Überschuß von einem der beiden Reaktanten erzielt. Bei Variation von R und X steigt die Ausbeute in der Reihenfolge n-octyl 〈 t-butyl 〈 äthyl 〈 methyl und Cl 〈 Br 〈 I.
    Notes: The synthesis of ferrocene containing polyesters is reported along with particular reaction and substituent dependencies. Synthesis is rapid being completed within 30 seconds. Yield increases when either reactant is in excess. Yield decreases for alkyl substituents on the tin in the order methyl 〉 ethyl 〉 t-butyl 〉 n-octyl and I 〉 Br 〉 Cl for halide substituents on tin.
