Summary 1. Deuteroexchange in cyclohexane was investigated on oxides of neodymium. gadolinium, aluminum, neodymium oxide on aluminum oxide, and cerium dioxide as a function of the temperature, space velocity, and molar ratios. 2. At low degrees of conversion, the main product of the exchange is monodeuterated cyclohexane. 3. The nature of the distribution of the exchange products for all the investigated catalysts (with the exception of Al2O3 is the same all the way up to a temperature of 480°.
