    Notizen: This paper deals with the separation of microcrystalline wax (ceresin) from the Soviet Tuimasa heavy oil, using an ABT mixture. Structure investigation was performed using different methods of analysis such as fractional crystallisation, n-d-method, Grodde analysis, elementary analysis, urea adduction and adsorption analysis. It was concluded, that this wax was mostly composed of di- and tricyclic paraffinic compounds.

    Notizen: This work deals with the chemical structure of a microcrystalline wax obtained from a Soviet Tuimasa deasphalted oil residue. Fractional crystallisation of the wax was carried out and the obtained fractions were further separated using silicagel adsorption chromatography column and urea adduction. It was found, that the ring No. and the branching of the molecules increased with descrease of the crystallisation temperature.

    Notizen: This work deals with the production of paraffinic waxes from the Balayiem land crude by solvent dewaxing and filter pressing. The diesel oil cut included 8.8 wt.% paraffin wax, spindle oil 16.6 wt.% and neutral oil I 16.3 wt.%. The deoiled waxes were pure white with solidification points at 41, 49 and 59°C in the three oil fractions. The waxes included very small amounts of iso-paraffins, which was a good property for fatty acid and soap production.
