Contents The voltage induced at the electrodes of an inductive flowmeter is given for a spatially inhomogeneous magnetic field and an arbitrary velocity profile. It is shown that the results for the 2-dimensional case, which have been given in the I. part [1], hold for the mean value of the signal $$\frac{1}{{2\pi a}}\int\limits_{ - \infty }^\infty {U\left( {z',\psi } \right)dz'} $$ .

Übersicht Die an den Elektroden eines induktiven Durchflußmessers induzierte Spannung wird für räumlich inhomogenes zeitlich konstantes Magnetfeld und beliebiges Geschwindigkeitsprofil angegeben. Es wird gezeigt, daß für das gemittelte Signal $$\frac{1}{{2\pi a}}\int\limits_{ - \infty }^\infty {U\left( {z',\psi } \right)dz'} $$ die Ergebnisse des ebenen Falles gelten, die im I. Teil [1] hergeleitet wurden.
