    Notes: Abstract Structural and infrared and electronic spectroscopic studies of the coordination polymers corresponding to the compounds of simplest formulas M 3 II [Mn(CN)5NO]2·nH2O (M=Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, andn=8–16) are reported and discussed in comparison with the corresponding nitroprussides. These polymers have a typical face centered cubic unit cell containing 1 1/3 formula units, except for M=Mn where the crystal system is orthorhombic.

    Description / Table of Contents: Résumé On a étudié par TG et ATD le comportement thermique de plusieurs complexes du type [FeII(CN)5L]5−. On a trouvé une relation simple entre la température de la décomposition et la position du ligand L. Les résultats expérimentaux obtenus, en étudiant les produits solides de la décomposition, permettent d'envisager plusieurs schémas de décomposition.
    Abstract: Zusammenfassung Das thermische Verhalten einer Anzahl komplexer Verbindungen des Typs [FeII(CN)5L]5− wurde mittels thermogravimetrischer und Differential-Thermoanalyse untersucht. Eine einfache Korrelation zwischen der Zersetzungstemperatur und der Lage des Liganden L in der spektrochemischen Reihe konnte gefunden werden. Die aus dem Studium der festen Zersetzungsprodukte erhaltenen experimentellen Beweise gestatten es, einige Zersetzungsschemata aufzustellen.
    Notes: Abstract The thermal behaviour of a number of complex compounds of the type [FeII(CN)5L]n− has been investigated with the aid of thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses. A simple correlation could be found between the decomposition temperatures and the position of the ligand L in the spectrochemical series. Experimental evidence obtained from the study of the solid decomposition products allows the postulation of some decomposition schemes.

    Description / Table of Contents: The Divanadates of ThoriumIt is shown that ThV2O7 appears in three polymorphic forms, two of them are crystalline and the third is amorphous. The structural behaviour of these forms is analysed with the aid of thermal, x-ray, and spectroscopic methods. The infrared spectra of the three modifications are discussed in detail.
    Notes: Es wird gezeigt, daß ThV2O7 in zwei kristallinen und einer amorphen Modifikation vorkommt. Das strukturchemische Verhalten dieser Formen wird an Hand von thermischen, röntgenographischen und spektroskopischen Messungen erläutert. Die Infrarotspektren der drei Phasen werden eingehend besprochen.
