Zusammenfassung Eine schwere Carbromal-Intoxikation mit letalem Ausgang wurde in ihrem klinischen Verlauf beschrieben. Auf Grund fortlaufend durchgeführter chemisch-toxikologischer Bestimmungen von Bromid im Serum, Magenspülflüssigkeit, Harn und Hämodialyse-Waschlösung konnte die Elimination bromierter Harnstoffderivate näher untersucht werden.

Abstract The clinical course of a case of severe Carbromal poisoning with lethal outcome is described. Bromide was serially determined in serum, urine, gastric washings and in the bath-fluid from hemodialysis to further characterize the elimination of brominated mono-ureides.
