The monodromy method, for calculating classical periodic trajectories, is applied to the famous Hénon–Heiles potential, which is invariant under the group D3. The monodromy method is computationally very efficient and is used to find many families of periodic trajectories, including a number of simple bifurcations from the main families of the Hénon–Heiles potential.
