Notes:
Laser light scattering (LLS) at 632 nm was used in measurements of both activity coefficients, γi, and excess Gibbs functions, GE, in the systems CCl4(1)/chloroalkane(2) (butyl chloride, sec-butyl chloride, isobutyl chloride, and tert-butyl chloride). The GE values for these systems are positive. From both activity coefficients and anisotropic Rayleigh ratios, the ordered structure of these binary mixtures were studies.
