Notes:
Isopropylaminodiphenylamine, an antioxidant used in the manufacture of some types of rubber, is capable of causing an allergic contact dermatitis. Some cases are associated with a widespread purpuric capillaritis similar to the eruption produced by sensitivity to carbromal and meprobamate. Two typical cases of this reaction are described in men following the wearing of rubber boots. All haematological findings were normal. No evidence on the mechanism involved has been found.
