Conclusions 1. A study was made of the effects of electrolysis parameters (copper concentration in electrolyte, electrolyte temperature, and cathode current density) upon the properties of copper powder deposits. The optimum process parameters resulting in the formation of coarse copper powder of good ductility were determined. 2. The effects of various cathode materials upon the properties of loose copper deposits were investigated. It was established that powder deposits forming on a copper cathode exhibit the highest ductility, but are comparatively difficult to strip from the cathode.
