Summary Erythrocytes of group 0 cde/cde successively treated with bromelin and β-glucuronidase (DFE) react not only with antibodies (anti-DFE) contained in the IgM-fraction of each human serum but also with Rh-specific antibodies of the IgG-fraction of anti-Rh-sera. This indicates, that the enzyme treatment makes accessible two different possibly crossreacting structures. Since anti-DFE is contained in the IgM-fraction of all human-sera, the antigenic determinant reacting with anti-DFE is considered a polyagglutinogen not identical with the well known polyagglutination-phenomena (T, Tn and Cad) as it is shown by comparative investigations with anti-T and anti-Tn as well as anti-Cad active seed extracts.

Zusammenfassung Nacheinander mit Bromelin und β-Glucuronidase behandelte Erythrozyten „doppelfermentierte Erythrozyten” (DFE) der Gruppe 0 cde/cde reagieren erstens mit einem Antikörper (Anti-DFE), der in der IgM-Fraktion jedes menschlichen Serums vorhanden ist und zweitens mit Rh-spezifischen Antikörpern der IgG-Fraktion. Das spricht dafür, daß die Enzymbehandlung zwei verschiedene, möglicherweise kreuzreaktive Strukturen zugänglich macht. Da Anti-DFE der IgM-Fraktion bisher in jedem menschlichen Serum (und in einigen tierischen Seren) nachzuweisen war, kann es sich bei der Anti-DFE-homologen Struktur nur um ein Polyagglutinogen handeln, das, wie Untersuchungen von eluierten, reinen Anti-DFE mit T-, Tn-und Cad-aktivierten Erythrozyten und von DFE mit Anti-T-, Anti-Tn- und Anti-Cad-aktiven Samenextrakten zeigen, mit den bisher bekannten Polyagglutinationsphänomenen nicht identisch ist.
