    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Es wird der Einfluß der Heterogenitätsparameter auf die Form der Excessadsorptionsisothermen diskutiert. Diese Isothermen werden nach Gleichungen berechnet, die unterschiedlichen Energieverteilungen entsprechen. Die Isothermengleichungen werden auf experimentelle Excessisothermen für die Adsorption von 1-Tetradecen/Dodecan-Gemischen an verschiedenenX-Zeolithen bei 293 K, 313 K und 333 K angewendet. Die Zeolithe wurden durch Ionenaustausch der Natriumionen gegen Ionen der Alkali- und Erdalkaligruppe hergestellt. Die Analyse der Daten mit Hilfe der unterschiedlichen Isothermengleichungen zeigt, daß sich die Parameter einerDubinin-Radushkevich-Gleichung korrekt mit der Temperatur und dem Gehalt an Alkalikationen in den Zeolithen ändern.
    Notes: Abstract The influence of heterogeneity parameters on the shape of excess adsorption isotherms has been discussed. These isotherms have been calculated according to the equations corresponding to different energy distributions. Next, the isotherm equations have been applied to examine the experimental excess isotherms for 1-tetradecene/dodecane mixture adsorption on different types ofX-zeolites at 293 K, 313 K and 333 K. The zeolite samples have been prepared from NaX-zeolite by exchanging the sodium ions for ions of alkalines and calcium group. Analysis of the above adsorption data by means of different isotherm equations showed that the parameters of aDubinin-Radushkevich-type equation change correctly with temperature and the contents of alkalines in the zeolite samples.

    Notes: Abstract The isotherm equation for adsorption of binary liquid mixtures of nonelectrolytes, involving differences in molecular sizes of components and quasi-Gaussian energy distribution of adsorption sites, is used to describe the excess adsorption data for 1-olefin/n-paraffin liquid mixtures on NaX and NaY zeolites at 293 K. This equation gives a good representation of the above adsorption data. Analysis of these data showed that the heterogeneity parameter is slightly dependent on the difference in molecular sizes of both components.

    Notes: Investigations of Adsorptive Separation of Glycerol/Propane-1,3-diol in Aqueous Solution on Zeolites by Liquid Phase AdsorptionThe possibilities of adsorptive separation of propane-1,3-diol/water and glycerol/water mixtures on zeolitic adsorbents were studied in aqueous solution. The excess isotherms of both mixtures were determined on NaZSM-5 and on K+ and Ca2+ modified X and Y zeolites. The equilibrium constants of the examined mixtures and the theoretical mixture propane-1,3-diol/glycerol were calculated. The interactions of the three O atoms of glycerol with Ca2+ ions on Y zeolites led to the highest separation factor glycerol/propane-1,3-diol. Propan-1,3-diol is separable by NaZSM-5 zeolites.

    Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Изучена каталитическая активнось разных катализаторов типа NiO−Al2O3/SiO2 в интегральном реакторе при высоком давлении. Установлено, что катализаторы с большим соотношением Ni/Al обладают высокой селективностью по отношению к димерам. Кислотность поверхшости сильно влияет на селективность и распределение продуктов реакции.
    Notes: Abstract The catalytic activity of various NiO−Al2O3/SiO2 catalysts has been investigated in a tubular fixed-bed reactor at high pressure. High selectivities to propene dimers were obtained on catalysts with a high Ni/Al ratio. The surface acidity of the catalysts influences strongly the selectivity and the product distribution.

Температуры восстановления значительно выше температур димеризации.
    Notes: Abstract By static magnetic measurements it was found that the ability to reduction of an amorphous NiO−Al2O3/SiO2 catalyst decreases in the order: but-2-enes∼hydrogen∼ ∼isobutene〉but-1-ene〉propene∼ethene. The reduction temperatures are significantly higher than the dimerization reaction temperatures.

    Description / Table of Contents: Studies on Nickel Oxide Mixed Catalysts. I. Structural Properties of NiO/SiO2 CatalystsStructural properties of NiO/SiO2 catalysts prepared by precipitation-deposition and impregnation have been investigated. A nickel-layer-silicate like structure is formed only in the precipitated catalysts showed infrared spectroscopic measurements. After thermal treatment at 723 K by means of magnetic measurements and reflectance spectroscopy besides Ni2+ ions in octahedral environment tetrahedral coordinated Ni2+ions were found. The part of tetrahedral coordinated Ni2+ ions is independent of the NiO-content up to 40 mole % NiO. Nickel oxide is formed above a content of 40 mole %.In the case of the impregnated catalysts nickel oxide cluster are formed on the surface after annealing at 723 K.
    Notes: Es wurden die strukturellen Eigenschaften von durch Fällung und Tränkung hergestellten NiO/SiO2-Katalysatoren untersucht. Infraspektroskopische Messungen zeigten, daß sich bei den durch Fällung hergestellten Katalysatoren wenig strukturierte Nickelschichtsilikate bilden. Nach thermischer Behandlung bei 723 K wurden durch magnetische und UV-VIS-reflexionsspektroskopische Untersuchungen neben Ni2+-Ionen in oktaedrischer Sauertoffkoordination auch tetraedrisch koordinierte Ni2+-Ionen nachgewiesen. Der Anteil an tetraedrisch koordinierten Ni2+-Ionen ist bis 40 Mol-% NiO nicht vom NiO-Gehalt abhängig.Im Unterschied dazu sind bei den durch Tränkung hergestellten Katalysatoren die Wechsel-wirkungen zwischen den Komponenten gering. Auf der Oberfläche dieser Katalysatoren bilden sich nach Temperung Nickeloxidcluster.

From the adsorption excess isotherms the separation factors and the equilibrium diagrams xs vs x1 of the binary mixtures were calculated. The possible triangles of 0 atoms of polyols and the influence of the conformation on formation of adsorption complexes are discussed.
