    A newly identified Minute locus, M(2)32D, encodes the ribosomal protein L9 in Drosophila melanogaster (1996)

    Notes: Abstract  A gene encoding a ubiquitously expressed mRNA in Drosophila melanogaster was isolated and identified as the gene for ribosomal protein L9 (rpL9) by its extensive sequence homology to the corresponding gene from rat. The rpL9 gene is localized in polytene region 32D where two independent P element insertions flanking the locus are available. Remobilization of either P element generated lines with a typical Minute phenotype, e.g. thin and short bristles, prolonged development, and female semisterility in heterozygotes as well as homozygous lethality. All these characteristics can be rescued when a 3.9 kb restriction fragment containing the rpL9 gene is reintroduced by P element-mediated germline transformation. This result confirms that M(2)32D codes for ribosomal protein L9.

    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe dilatometrischer Titrationen wurde die Protonierung von Säureanionen verfolgt. Die quantitative Auswertung der Titrationskurven erlaubt die genaue Ermittlung der Dissoziationskonstanten mittelstarker Säuren und deren maximalen Reaktionsvolumina. Als Beispiele werden die Protonierungstitrationen von CH3COONa, HCOONa, BrCH2COONa, ClCH2COONa, Cl2CHCOONa und Cl3CCOONa mit HCl in wäßriger Lösung bei 20°C ausgewertet.
    Notes: Abstract By dilatometrical titrations the protonation of anions of the corresponding acids was observed. The quantitative evaluation of the titration curves allowed the accurate calculation of the equilibrium constants and the volume changes for the ionisation of medium-strong acids. The protonation of CH3COONa, HCOONa, BrCH2COONa, ClCH2COONa, Cl2CHCOONa and Cl3CCOONa with HCl at 20°C is reported.

    Notes: Bei der Umsetzung von Imidiumchlorid-hexachloroantimonaten(V) 3 mit dem dimeren Antimon(V)-tetrachlorid-azid (4) bilden sich die stabilen und gegen Luftfeuchtigkeit weitgehend unempfindlichen Imidiumazid-hexachloroantimonate(V) 5. Durch Hydrolyse bzw. Alkoholyse des Chlorformimidiumazid-hexachloroantimonats(V) (5b) wurde das Hydroxy-bzw. Methoxyformimidiumazid-hexachloroantimonat(V) (6a, b) erhalten. Die IR-Spektren aller dargestellten Verbindungen wurden zugeordnet und besonders hinsichtlich der Bindungs-verhältnisse in den Kationen diskutiert.

    Notes: Bei der Umsetzung von Chlorformamidinium-Salzen mit Trimethylsilylazid bilden sich die stabilen Azidoformamidinium-Salze 2. Azidoformimidiumazid-hexachloroantimonat(V) (3, X = SbCl6) kann durch Umsetzung von Chlorformimidiumchlorid-hexachloroantimonat-(V) (6) bzw. von Chlorformimidiumazid-hexachloroantimonat(V) (7) mit dem dimeren Tetrachloroantimon(V)-azid dargestellt werden. Außerdem wird eine neue Darstellungsmethode für Tetrachloroantimon(V)-azid beschrieben. Auf Grund einer eingehenden Diskussion der IR-Spektren der Salze 2, 3 und 4 wird gezeigt, daß deren Kationen durch Mesomerie stabilisiert sind.

    Notes: Trimethylarsin- bzw. -stibindichlorid (1a,b) bilden mit überschüssigem Natriumazid die entsprechenden Diazide (3a, b). Analoge Umsetzungen der Dichloride mit Natriumazid im Molverhältnis 1 : 1 ergeben jedoch nicht die erwarteten Chloridazide 2, sondern äquimolare Gemische der Dichloride und Diazide. Durch Protonenresonanzuntersuchungen konnte gezeigt werden, daß die als Festkörper nicht darstellbaren Chloridazide in Lösung existent sind. Die IR-Banden des Trimethylarsindichlorids sowie der Diazide wurden zugeordnet.

    Notes: Bei der Umsetzung von Trimethylchlorphosphonium-, -arsonium- und -stibonium-hexachloro-antimonat(V) mit Natriumazid im Molverhältnis 1:1 bilden sich Trimethylazidophosphonium- und -arsonium-hexachloroantimonat(V) bzw. Trimethylchlorstibonium-pentachloro-azidoantimonat(V). Die Umsetzung mit Natriumazid im Molverhältnis 1 : 2 liefert Trimethylazidophosphonium- bzw. -arsonium-pentachloroazidoantimonat(V). Die entsprechende Antimonverbindung wird aus Trimethylstibindiazid und Antimon(V)-chlorid erhalten. Die IR- und 1H-NMR-Spektren dieser Verbindungen wurden im Hinblick auf die Bindungsverhältnisse der El-N3-Gruppierung diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: The Reaction of Trichloromethylisocyanide Dichloride with Antimony(V) Chloride or Hydrogen Chloride/ Antimony(V) ChlorideTrichloromethylisocyanide dichloride (1) reacts with hydrogen chloride/antimony(V) chloride to yield N-(trichloromethyl)chloroformimidium chloride hexachloroantimonate(V) (4). Elimination of hydrogen chloride as well as the reaction of 1 with antimony(V) chloride leads to N-(dichloromethylen)chloroformimidium chloride hexachloroantimonate(V) (5). The vibrational spectra of these compounds were assigned.
    Notes: Bei der Umsetzung von Trichlormethylisocyaniddichlorid (1) mit Chlorwasserstoff/Antimon-(V)-chlorid bildet sich N-Trichlormethyl-chlorformimidiumchlorid-hexachloroantimonat(V) (4). Durch Chlorwasserstoffabspaltung aus 4 sowie durch Umsetzung von 1 mit Antimon(V)-chlorid erhält man N-Dichlormethylen-chlorformimidiumchlorid-hexachloroantimonat(V) (5). Die Schwingungsspektren von 1, 4 und 5 wurden zugeordnet.
