Complexes of the d8-Noble Metals and of Manganese and Rhenium with Tricyano- and Tris(ethoxycarbonyl)methanid Ligandstrans-(Ph3P)2PtH[C(CN)3] (2) and trans-(Ph3P)2Pt(CN)[C(CN)3] (1) are obtained by oxidative addition of dicyanoketene imine or tetracyanomethanc to Pt(PPh3)4. The compounds L2MX[C(CN)3] (3-6) (L = PR3, AsPh3; M = Pd, Pt; X = Cl, Br, C(CN)3) and trans-(Ph3P)2M(CO)[C(CN)3] (8a, b) (M = Rh, Ir) have been prepared from the corresponding halo complexes and K[C(CN)3]. Mn(CO)5Br and Re(CO)5Cl react with K[CX3] (X = CN, CO2Et) to give tricarbonyl complexes [M(CO)3XCX2]n (9a-d), which afford with triphenylphosphine the compounds M(CO)3(PPh3)2XCX2 (10a-c). The coordination of the methanide ligands to the metal is discussed on the basis of i.r., Raman and 14N-n.m.r. spectra.

Die Komplexe trans-(Ph3P)2PtH[C(CN)3] (2) und trans-(Ph3P)2Pt(CN)[C(CN)3] (1) entstehen durch oxidative Addition von Dicyanketenimin bzw. Tetracyanmethan an Pt(PPh3)4. Die Verbindungen L2MX[C(CN)3] (3-6) (L = PR3; AsPh3: M = Pd, Pt; X = Cl, Br, C(CN)3) und trans-(Ph3P)2M(CO)[C(CN)3] (8a, b) (M = Rh, Ir) werden aus den entsprechenden Halogeno-Komplexen und K[C(CN)3] erhalten. Mn(CO)5Br und Re(CO)5Cl liefern mit K[CX3] (X = CN, CO2Ät) die Tricarbonylverbindungen [M(CO)3XCX2]n (9a-d), die mit Triphenylphosphin die Komplexe M(CO)3(PPh3)2XCX2 (10a-c) bilden. D ie Koordination der Methanid-Liganden an das Metall wird an Hand von IR-, Ra- und 14N-NMR-Spektren diskutiert.
