Description / Table of Contents: Abstract Es wurden die bisher unbekannten Methylchlordisilazane (IV), (VII), (VIII) und (IX) dargestellt (Rkk. 6–11), charakterisiert (Tab. 1) und in einige Derivate (XI–XIII) übergeführt.
Notes: Abstract The hitherto unknown methylchlorodisilazanes Cl2 meSi-NH-Sime 3 (IV), Cl2 meSi-NH-SimeCl2 (VII), Cl3Si-NH-Sime 2Cl (VIII) and Cl3Si-NH-SimeCl2 (IX) (Scheme 1) were prepared (equ. 6–11), characterized by their properties (Table 1) and transformed into the derivatives XI–XIII.

Notes: Abstract A monitor is described which provides the on-line determination of mercury in river water at concentrations from 20 to 1000 ng/L. The measurement includes an on-line digestion with Br–/BrO3 – and UV-radiation. Each determination is controlled by an on-line addition of 50 and 100 ng/L mercury carried out by pre-dilution of a 500 and 1000 ng/L stock solution using sequential injection analysis (SIA). One cycle of analysis takes 20 min and results in nine signals. A five days stand-alone operation has been performed successfully. Notes: Kinetic Investigation of the Platinum-catalysed Hydrosilylation of Vinylsiloxanes with HydrogensiloxanesA kinetic investigation of the platinum-catalysed hydrosilylation of monofunctional oligomeric vinylsiloxanes by monofunctional oligomeric hydrogensiloxanes was performed under stoichiometric conditions with use of quantitative 1H-NMR spectrometry. The reaction rate up to 50% conversion can be expressed by v=k [Pt]. During further hydrosilylation the kinetic changed to second order. No induction period was observed. A hydrogensiloxane with a dimethylsilyl end group gives much higher rates than a siloxane with a methylsiloxy group. The main reactions of all hydrosilylations, determined by GC-MS and 29Si-NMR, are β-additions. Less then 5% α-products are obtained.

Notes: Abstract A simple, robust and surprisingly exact method for the quantitative determination of Si-H- or Si-Si-groups is based on alkaline hydrolysis of the Si-H- or Si-Si-containing substances in a sealed and evacuated vessel and weighing of the volume of water equivalent to the developed volume of hydrogen. The accuracy is ± 0.03% (abs.) with H contents of 1–2%.
