Pseudocercospora nephelii is described from necrotic lesions on leaves of Nephelium lappaceum seedlings in Brunei, sometimes causing complete defoliation and death. The pathogen also occurs in Sabah and Selangor in Malaysia. Recommendations for control include treatment with mancozeb or benomyl.
