Notizen: A General Synthetic Pathway to Ergot Peptide Alkaloides of the N-(d-Lysergyl-aminoacyl)-lactam TypeThe structure and configuration of the novel ergot alkaloid from Claviceps purpurea N-(d-Lysergyl-valyl)-phenylalanyl-D-prolin-lactam (2) has been proved by synthesis. In addition, a general synthetic pathway to N-(d-Lysergyl-aminoacyl)-lactams of this type is opened, which are possible key intermediates in the biogenesis of ergot peptide alkaloides.
