Notes: Abstract. The basic parameters of supersymmetric theories can be determined at future e + e - linear colliders with high precision. We investigate in this report how polarisation measurements in $\tilde{\tau}$ and $\tilde{t}$ or $\tilde{b}$ decays to $\tau$ leptons and t quarks plus neutralinos or charginos can be used to measure $\tan\beta$ (in particular for large values) and to determine the trilinear couplings $A_{\tau}$ , A t and A b in sfermion pair production.

Notes: Abstract. High-precision analyses are presented for the production of scalar sleptons, selectrons and smuons in supersymmetric theories, at future e + e - and e - e - linear colliders. Threshold production can be exploited for measurements of the selectron and smuon masses, an essential ingredient for the reconstruction of the fundamental supersymmetric theory at high scales. The production of selectrons in the continuum will allow us to determine the Yukawa couplings in the selectron sector, scrutinizing the identity of the Yukawa and gauge couplings, which is a basic consequence of supersymmetry. The theoretical predictions are elaborated at the one-loop level in the continuum, while at threshold non-zero width effects and Sommerfeld rescattering corrections are included. The phenomenological analyses are performed for e + e - and e - e - linear colliders with energy up to about 1 TeV and with high integrated luminosity up to 1 ab-1 to cover the individual slepton channels separately with high precision.

Notes: Abstract We discuss the angular asymmetries of 3-jet events ine + e − annihilation, originating from hard gluon bremsstrahlung off quarks. Lepton beam polarization helps to disentangle the various helicity components of the bremsstrahlung cross section. They are sensitive to the spin of the radiated quantum but are otherwise parameter-free.

Notes: Abstract Hard gluon bremsstrahlung off quarks ine + e − annihilation is expected to produce three-jet events. The angular distributions of the jets are calculated for electromagnetic and weak production in the high energy region (Z resonance decay included). Numerical estimates are presented for the vectoraxialvector interference terms within the Weinberg-Salam theory. We discuss (i) angular correlations between jets, (ii) semiinclusive pion distributions and (iii) we comment on angular asymmetries of leptons originating from heavy quark decays.

Notes: Abstract. Complementing the preceding study of charged scalar leptons, the sector of the neutral scalar leptons, sneutrinos, is investigated in a high-precision analysis for future e + e - linear colliders. The theoretical predictions for the cross-sections are calculated at the thresholds for non-zero widths and in the continuum including higher-order corrections at the one-loop level. Methods for measuring the sneutrino masses and the electron-sneutrino-gaugino Yukawa couplings are presented, addressing theoretical problems specific for the sneutrino channels.

Notes: Abstract. For large masses, the two heavy neutral Higgs bosons are nearly degenerate in many 2-Higgs doublet models, and particularly in supersymmetric models. In such a scenario the mixing between the states can be very large if the theory is CP-noninvariant. We analyze the formalism describing this configuration, and we point to some interesting experimental consequences.

Notes: Abstract A large fraction of 4-jet events inZ 0 decays evolve fromq $$\bar q$$ gg parton states. These configurations allow us to test the triple gluon coupling which is a consequence of the non-Abelian nature of QCD. The strength and the form of this coupling determine the quark-gluon decomposition of the final state as well as angular correlations between the jets. A critical assessment of the sensitivity of these observables to theggg vertex is presented under realistic experimental conditions. Methods to improve the sensitivity in large samples ofZ 0 decays are suggested.

Notes: Abstract We discuss the Higgs scenario in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model ate +e− linear colliders operating in the c.m. energy range between 300 and 500 GeV. Besides decays of the Higgs particles into ordinary fermions and cascade decays, we analyze also decays into gaugino/Higgsinos and in particular, neutral Higgs decays into the lightest supersymmetric particles which are invisible ifR-parity is conserved. The cross sections for the various production channels of SUSY Higgs particles ine +e− collisions are discussed in detail. The lightest Higgs boson cannot escape detection, and in major parts of the MSSM parameter space all five Higgs particles can be observed.

Notes: Abstract We calculate the hadronic coupling constantsg NNπ andg ϱππ in QCD, including dynamical quarks in the framework of staggered fermions in the lattice approach. For the nucleon-pion coupling we obtaing NNπ =13.8±5.8, to be compared with the experimental value 13.13±0.07 [1]. The ϱππ coupling has been analysed for two different sets of operators with the averaged resultg ϱππ=4.2±1.9 which is to be compared with the experimental value 6.06±0.01 [2].
