Notizen:
Summary With the aid of a new developed silverimpregnation method the dermo-epidermal junction in normal human epidermis was investigated. The basement membrane fit for representation in electron microscope is hardly stained by the applied technique and all intraepidermal fibrillar structures show little contrast. But well stained, very fine microfibrils could be seen, going from the corium to the basement membrane. They are interlaced and form a small subepidermal zone of tight network. In the same good way as the microfibrils the collagen fibrils of the upper corium are stained, in contrast to the elastic material which practically does not show any affinity to the silversalts. This different staining contrast infers that this microfibrils which fix the basement membrane are out of complete different material than the fibrillar structures of the epidermis as there are tonofibrils or elastic fibers. With regard to the applied silverimpregnation method and the affinity of these microfibrils to the silversalts it can be concluded that they are more related to collagen. If they are identical with the “reticulin fibers” seen in normal light-microscope, or in which way both fibers are related to collagen, can not be decided.
