В восстановленных Pt−Pb/Al2O3 меньшая часть свинща существует как Pbo в сплаве с Pt. Бϕльшая часть свинща не восстановливается и существует в виде поверхностных соединений PbII, стабилизированных носителем.
    Notes: Abstract The results of temperature-programmed reduction are consistent with those of chemisorption of O2 and H2. In reduced Pt−Pb/Al2O3, a minor part of lead exists as Pbo in an alloy with Pt. The major part of lead is not reduced and exists as carrier-stabilized PbII surface species.

Одновременно уменьшается количество слабо адсорбированного водорода и усиливается адсорбция кислорода. Найдена корреляция между количеством слабоадсорбированного водорода и активносты.
    Notes: Abstract With increasing amounts of Pb or Sn the weak adsorption of hydrogen decreases, the adsorption of oxygen increases and the activity in the dehydrogenation of cyclohexane decreases. A correlation could be found between the amount of weakly adsorbed hydrogen and the dehydrogenation activity.

    Description / Table of Contents: Mechanism of Sintering of Highly Dispersed Pt on Al2O3 in OxygenSintering of highly dispersed Pt on alumina in O2 consists in a slow thermal decomposition of a PtIV surface compound, followed by a fast coalescence of the highly mobile, zerovalent Pt, formed during the decomposition. Sintering according to this mechanism is inhibited by O2. The slower Ostwald ripening, promoted by O2, comes into effect only after complete decomposition of the PtIV surface compound.
    Notes: Das Sintern von hochdispersem Pt auf Al2O3 in O2 besteht im langsamen Zerfall einer PtIV-Oberflächenverbindung, gefolgt von schneller Koaleszenz des beim Zerfall entstandenen hochbeweglichen nullwertigen Pt. Das Sintern nach diesem Mechanismus wird durch O2 gehemmt. Die langsamere Ostwald-Reifung, die durch O2 beschleunigt wird, wird als Mechanismus des Sinterns erst nach vollständigem Zerfall der PtIV-Oberflächenverbindung wirksam.
