    Description / Table of Contents: Reactions of PCl5 and PCl3 with Benzohydroxamic Acid. Benzohydroxamato Derivatives of PhosphorusPCl5 and PCl3 react easily with benzohydroxamic acid. With PCl5 (benzohydroxamato)PCl3 (II), (benzohydroxamato)2PCl (III) and H[P(benzohydroxamato)3] (IV) are formed depending on the reaction conditions. III can be fluorinated with SbF3 to give (benzohydroxamato)2PF (VI). With SO2 II yields (benzohydroxamato)P(O)Cl (VII). PCl3 reacts with benzohydroxamic acid to give (benzohydroxamato)PCl (VIII) and (benzohydroxamato)2PH (IX).
    Notes: PCl5 und PCl3 reagieren leicht mit Benzhydroxamsäure. Mit PCl5 entsteht je nach den Reaktionsbedingungen (benzhydroxamato)PCl3 (II), (benzhydroxamato)2PCl (III) und H[P(benzhydroxamato)3] (IV). III läßt sich mit SbF3 zu (benzhydroxamato)2PF (VI) fluorieren. Mit SO2 entsteht aus II (benzhydroxamato)P(O)Cl (VII). PCl3 setzt sich mit Benzhydroxamsäure zu (benzhydroxamato)PCl (VIII) und (benzhydroxamato)2PH (IX) um.

    Description / Table of Contents: Experiments for the Preparation of Doubly Silylated NitroamineSilylated derivatives of nitroamines can be obtained by treating nitryl compounds with silazanes, i. e. via formation of an N—N bond:The reaction product can be isolated in the case of R = CH3, R′= Si(CH3)3, whereas [(CH3)3Si]2 NNO2 is unstable and cannot be obtained at room temperature. Isomeric Bis(trimethylsilyl)-hyponitrite formed by reaction of silver hyponitrite with trimethylchlorosilane is similarly unstable. Cleavage of siloxanes by nitryl and nitrosyl compounds is discussed in connection with the above reaction.
    Notes: Die Reaktion von Nitroniumverbindungen mit Silazanen ist prinzipiell zur N—N-Verknüpfung und damit zur Darstellung silylierter Derivate von Nitroaminen brauchbar.Für R = CH3, R′= Si(CH3)3 gelingt die Isolierung des Endproduktes. Das zweifach silylierte Nitramid (R = R′ = Si(CH3)3) ist instabil und kann bei Raumtemperatur nicht isoliert werden. Isomeres Bis(trimethylsilyl)hyponitrit entsteht bei der Umsetzung von Silberhyponitrit mit Trimethyl-chlorsilan und ist gleichfalls wenig stabil. Die Spaltung von Siloxanen mit Nitryl- bzw. Nitrosylverbindungen wird im Zusammenhang mit der obigen Reaktion diskutiert.

    Description / Table of Contents: On the Mechanism of the Reaction between Hyponitrites and N2O4The mechanism of the oxidation of sodium trans-hyponitrite and sodium α-oxyhyponitrite, respectively, with N2O4 is investigated. The reacting species is probably nitrosyl cation which attacks one of the oxygen atoms of the hyponitrite or α-oxyhyponitrite anion, respectively.
    Notes: Der Mechanismus der Oxydation von Natrium-trans-hyponitrit und Natrium-α-oxyhyponitrit mit N2O4 wird untersucht. Reagierendes Agens ist wahrscheinlich das Nitrosyl-Kation, das an einem Sauerstoffatom des Hyponitrit- bzw. α-Oxyhyponitrit-Anions angreift.
