    Notes: Abstract Total and differential cross sections for the production of fast Kr2+ ions in collisions of He+, Ne+ and Ar+ with Kr were measured at primary energies below 500 eV. In the system Ar++Kr most of these reactions occur in close collisions and are accompanied by a large momentum transfer. For Ne++ Kr collisions the angular distribution in the centre of mass system is approximately isotropic over a wide angular range. The cross section values for the Kr2+ production amount to 1% of the total charge transfer cross section in the investigated energy range.

    Notes: Abstract Differential charge transfer cross sections for collisions of He+, Ne+ and Ar+ with Kr were measured at collision energies below 500 eV. A remarkable fraction of these collisions (2–30 %) occurs with large momentum transfer and small impact parameters. These close collisions lead to an excitation of the product particles, the measured reaction channels are strongly endothermic. In the system Ar++Kr one reaction channel may be described in terms of a curve crossing.

    Notes: Abstract Total charge exchange cross sections were measured for He++ in He and Ar gas in the energy range from 50 to 540 eV using a single beam apparatus. For He++ in He the measured cross section is in agreement with calculations for symmetric resonant charge exchange. For He++ in Ar the cross section for charge exchange decreases with decreasing energy below 300 eV. The measured cross section suggests the formation of Ar+ ions to be more important at lower energies and the production of Ar++ to be dominant at higher energies.

    Notes: Abstract For collision energies between 100 and 500 eV the collision induced dissociation of H 3 + colliding with H2, He and Kr gas targets was measured. We obtained total cross sections and angular distributions of the charged collision fragments for the main reaction channels. H 3 + +H2→H++2H2 and H 3 + +H2→H 2 + +H2+H. An analysis of the kinetics yields that the dissociation proceeds via vibrational-rotational excitation of H 3 + by mutually induced dipolmoments.
