    Notes: The theories of the dilatation, r → r eiθ, and translation, x → x + iq, transformations as related to the Stark problem are reviewed, and new results obtained. Results for the hydrogen atom n = 1 and n = 2 levels and the 1P0, 2s2p H- shape resonance in dc fields are presented, and the extension to the ac Stark effect made. Spectral estimates are made using the technique of the numerical range and via discussion of several model problems, using both coordinate rotation and coordinate translation.

    Description / Table of Contents: Stress induced cracks have been definitely produced in PA-6- and PA-66-filament yarns. As a function of treatment conditions the position of the cracks with respect to the fibre axis varies. This phenomenon is explained on the basis of a skin-core structure of the fibre and a ballance of the internal (due to swelling) and external stresses. The resulting correlations allow a calculation of the internal stresses due to swelling during treatment of the fibres with swelling agents.
    Notes: An PA-6- und -66-Filamentgarnen konnten Spannungsrisse definiert erzeugt werden. In Abhängigkeit von der bei der Behandlung im Spannungsrißkorrosion fördernden Bad wirkenden feinheitsbezogenen Fadenzugkraft wurden dabei unterschiedliche Rißlagen bezüglich der Faserachese festgestellt. für die Begründung der Rißlage wird auf die Kern-Mantel-Struktur der Fasern zurückgegriffen und unter Berücksichtigung der inneren Quellspannung und der äußeren Zugspannung eine Kräftebilanz für den Fasermantel erstellt. Die abgeleiten Beziehungen gestatten auch eine Abschätzung der bei einer turgo-mechanischen Behandlung der Faser auftretenden Quellspannungen.
