    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Summary The protein concentration in the blood plasma from renal vein and artery, as well as from mixed venous blood was determined in the patients with clinically normal renal function. The plasma protein level in renal vein blood is not significantly different from that in arterial blood. This is opposite to the findings in proteinuric renal disease, where the venous plasma protein concentration is lower than the arterial value.
    Notizen: Zusammenfassung Die Konzentration von Eiweiß im Plasma aus arteriellem und venösem Nierenblut und aus venösem „Mischblut“ wurde bei zehn Patienten mit klinisch normaler Nierenfunktion bestimmt. Der Proteinspiegel des venösen Nierenblutes weicht in nicht statistisch signifikanter Weise von dem des arteriellen Blutes nach oben ab. Dieser Befund steht im Gegensatz zu der Beobachtung, daß bei vielen proteinurischen Nierenerkrankungen der Proteinspiegel in der Nierenvene niedriger als in der Nierenarterie ist.

    Notizen: A computational technique within the Extended Hückel frame-work for the calculation of the hydrogen-molecule interaction energy is described. The procedure is ten times faster than the usual diagonalization procedure.The algorithm consists of transforming the generalized secular equation to give a bordered-diagonal matrix secular equation, which is solved by means of an efficient bisection technique.As an example, two problems are discussed: (i) glycine intra-molecular proton transfer process; (ii) interaction of the molecular fragments CH and OH.An atomic SCF Gaussian basis set was used instead of the usual Slater type basis set.
