Notes:
Summary In a woman who had had several habitual abortions, iso-antibodies were found which agglutinated the blood of all persons tested, with the exception of her own. The blood structures produced by the serum of this patient have been termed Z(a+), and the blood structure of the patient herself Z(a−). The theoretical significance of such cases is discussed.
