    Notes: Abstract The title compound (C18H22O6·H2O) crystallizes in space groupP212121 witha=25.909(5),b=8.542(3),c=8.187(3) Å,Z=4. The structure was determined from 1538 X-ray diffractometer data and refined toR=8.05%. The polyether adopts an annular structure with the water molecule at the center, and is slightly folded like the wings of a butterfly. As usual, all torsion angles about C−O aretrans and about C−C aregauche. This complex displays 3 three-center (bifurcated) and 1 two-center hydrogen bonds, between phenolic hydroxyl and water oxygen. The latter is involved in an infinite homodromic chain O(1)−H...O W −H...O(1)−H...

    Notes: Abstract The complex, [Zn(L)(NCO)]Cl · 3H2O (1) (L = 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[14,4,01.18,07.12]docosane), has been synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 10.530(3), b = 9.315(2), c = 27.188(3) Å, β = 92.58(1)°, V = 2664.1(9)Å3, and Z = 4. The zinc atom is in a distorted squarepyramidal environment with the four nitrogen atoms of the macrocycle and one nitrogen atom of the isocyanate ligand.
