Zusammenfassung Der maligne Granularzelltumor ist eine Weichteilgeschwulst, welche hauptsächlich in der Skelettmuskulatur vorkommt. Unterschiedliche Bezeichnungen des Tumors sind Ausdruck einer ungeklärten Histogenese. Diagnose, Differentialdiagnose und Therapie des malignen Granularzelltumors werden am Fall eines 28 jährigen Patienten dargestellt und diskutiert.

Summary The malignant granular cell tumor ist a rare soft tissue neoplasia which is chiefly localized in the sceletal muscles. The uncertain histogenesis gave rise to different terms. The clinical course is often protracted but fatal. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment are discussed in the light of a case report concerning a malignant granular cell tumor in a 28-year-old man.
