Zusammenfassung Es gibt viele Hinweise, daß das auslösende Agens der Enterocolitis granulomatosa Crohn aus dem Darmlumen stammt und mittels der lymphatischen Wege aufgenommen wird und sich auch lymphogen in andere Darmabschnitte ausbreitet. Aus diesem Grund entfernen wir die gesamte Mesenterialwurzel, die in dem Prozeßinvolviert ist. Die Ausdehnung der Resektion wird vor der Operation mittels einer Mesentericographie festgelegt. Die Hauptarterie des veränderten Abschnitts wurde ligiert und der zugehörige Darmanteil reseziert. Bei 17 Pat. der letzten 3 Jahre haben wir bisher kein Rezidiv.

Summary There are many indications that the etiological agent in Crohn's disease originates in the lumen and enters the intestine via the lymphatic vessels, passing in this way to other parts of the intestine. The authors therefore eliminate all the mesenteric structures altered by the disease. The extent of the resection is planned before the operation with reference to arteriographys. The artery of the affected part is ligated and the corresponding part of the intestine resected. No recurrence has so far been observed in 17 patients treated over the last 3 years.[⇃]
