Polymorphy on Chiral Phosphorus Analogues of Aspartic Acid Derivatives: Crystal and Molecular Structure of Methyl 2-(Benzoylamino)-3-(diethoxyphosphoryl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)propionateThe diastereomers of the title compound 1 were characterized by X-ray structure analyses. The relative configuration of diastereomer A is determined as RS/SR, diastereomer B shows RR/SS configuration. Depending on the different configurations hydrogen bonds are formed by the phosphoryl oxygen with the amide hydrogen intermolecularly (form A) or intramolecularly (B). No interaction is observed of the carboxylate and the amide oxygen, respectively, with the amide hydrogen.
