    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Zusammenfassung Die benignen Systemerkrankungen mit Milzbeteiligung umfassen haematologische Krankheiten, Speicherkrankheiten, Kollagenosen, Morbus Boeck, Infektionskrankheiten, Parasitosen und sonstige mit Blutabflußstörungen der Milz einhergehende Leiden. 4/5 der Fälle betreffen die haematologischen Erkrankungen des erythrocytären, thrombocytären und lymphatischen Systems sowie myeloproliferative und aplastische Syndrome. 227 von 1214 Splenektomien der letzten 20 Jahre wurden bei benignen Systemerkrankungen durchgeführt. Der ausgeprägte funktionelle und mechanische Hypersplenismus ergibt in der Regel die Indikation zur Operation. Die einzelnen Indikationen, die internistische Vorbehandlung und die Kombination mit nicht chirurgischen Maßnahmen werden dargestellt.
    Notizen: Summary The benign systemic disorders with involvement of the spleen are divided into haematologic diseases, thesaurismosis, collagenosis, morbus Boeck, infectious diseases, parasitosis and others. 4/5 of the cases are haematologic diseases of the erythrocytic, the thrombocytic and lymphatic system as well as myeloproliferative and aplastic syndromes. 227 of 1214 splenectomies of the last 20 years were done in benign systemic diseases. The functional and mechanical hypersplenism as a rule is the cause for operation. The specific indications, the medical pretreatment and the combination of surgery and nonsurgical measures are discussed.

The atomic arrangement of Ag2PdCl4 is explored by X-ray crystal structure analysis.Silver shows a distorted octahedral arrangement of chlorine atoms. Palladium forms typical, approximately square-planar PdCl4 groups. Ag2PdCl4 is a new variant of a partially occupied sodium chloride structure type.
    Notizen: Die Kristallstruktur von Ag2PdCl4 wurde mit röntgenographischen Methoden an Einkristallen ermittelt. Ag2PdCl4 kristallisiert mit orthorhombischer Symmetrie: Cmca (No. 64), a = 10,088(2), b = 8,051(5), c = 8,078(2) å mit 4 Formeleinheiten pro Elementarzelle.Silber besitzt eine verzerrt oktaedrische Chlor-Nachbarschaft, während das Palladium annähernd quadratisch planare PdCl4-Gruppen bildet. Ag2PdCl4 stellt eine neue Variante einer teilbesetzten Natriumchloridstruktur dar.

The compound crystallizes with tetragonal symmetry in space group P4/n - No. 85 with a = 8.197(2) Å, c = 6.257(4) Å and two formulae per unit cell. The structure was refined by full matrix least-squares techniques to an R value of 0.049. AgPb4O4Cl shows a typical layer structure. Layers of Pb2+, Ag+ and O2- are separated by chloride layers. The crystal-chemical relations to the structural arrangement of the tetragonal modification of PbO is shown.

AgPb4O4Cl kristallisiert tetragonal (Raumgruppe P4/n - No. 85) mit a = 8,197(2) Å, c = 6,257(4) Å und Z = 2. Die Verfeinerung der Einkristallmessung mittels der Methode der kleinsten Fehlerquadrate ergab den Gütefaktor Rw = 0.049. AgPb4O4Cl zeigt eine Schichtstruktur, wobei Chloridionen die Schichten aus Pb2+, Ag+ und O2- trennen. Die kristallchemische Beziehung zum Aufbau der tetragonalen Modifikation von PbO wird dargelegt.

The structure was refined by full matrix least-squares techniques to Rw = 0.0727 (2 030 reflections with I ≥ 3σ(I), MoKα, 4-circle-diffractometer AED2). Regions of lead(II) oxide exists within the structure, which are separated from the content of bromide. Pb13O10Br6 is a connecting link between oxidehalides and the tetragonal modification of PbO.

Pb13O10Br6 ist von kräftig gelber Farbe und kristallisiert monoklin (Raumgruppe C2/c - No. 15) mit a = 16,439(6) Å, b = 7,163(1) Å, c = 23,940(9) Å, β = 98,39(3)° und Z = 4. Die Verfeinerung der Parameter mittels der kleinsten Fehlerquadrate ergab Rw = 0,0727 (2 030 Reflexe mit I ≥ 3σ(I), MoKα Vierkreisdiffraktometer AED2). Die Verbindung zeigt in ihrem Aufbau eine deutliche Trennung in oxidische und halogenidische Bereiche. Pb13O10Br6 stellt ein Bindeglied in der Verbindungsreihe der Oxidhalogenide und tetragonalem PbO dar.

    Beschreibung / Inhaltsverzeichnis: Preparation and Crystal Structure of Lead(II) MonoglycerolateCrystals of lead(II) monoglycerolate, of a quality suitable for diffraction studies, have been prepared from an alkaline plumbate solution and an excess of glycerol. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 5.617(6) Å, b = 9.471(8) Å, c = 9.726(7) Å, β = 102.65(11)°. The structure was refined by full matrix least-squares techniques to an R value (1026 F0) of 0.078. The compound to which the formula Pb(C3H6O3) could be assigned, is polymeric in one direction. The lead and a part of the oxygen atoms built up a zig-zag chain parallel to the aaxis. The oxygen form a distorted tetragonal pyramid with lead at the apex. A decomposition temperature of 235°C has been determined.

Die Verfeinerung der Kristallstruktur mittels der Methode der kleinsten Fehlerquadrate ergab R = 0,078.Pb(C3H6O3) zeigt einen bemerkenswerten Aufbau. An der Koordination von Blei sind jeweils vier Glyceratdianionen beteiligt. Dabei heben sich Vierecke, die aus Blei und Sauerstoff gebildet werden, heraus. Diese Vierecke sind zickzackförmig miteinander verbunden und verlaufen parallel zur a-Achse. Untereinander sind diese eindimensional unendlichen Zickzackbänder durch die Glyceratreste abgeschirmt. Nach DTA-Untersuchungen ist die Zersetzungstemperatur von Blei(II)-monoglycerat 235°C.
