The structure of LH-RH in DMSO solution was studied using 2D NMR experiments at 600 MHz. The 13C NMR spectrum was completely assigned by the combined use of 1H-detected heteronuclear multiple-quantum coherence and 1H-detected multiple-bond heteronuclear multiple-quantum coherence. Measured 1J(CH) values were used to obtain the possible sets of Φ and Ψ dihedral angles. These features, together with some relevant dipolar interactions observed in the ROESY spectrum, were interpreted to provide evidence of some degree of intramolecular structuring.
