Zusammenfassung Das Referat beschäftigt sich mit Spätzuständen nach Luxationen und Frakturen der Knöchelgabel und des Fußes. Aus der umfangreichen Problematik werden die unfallchirurgisch am wichtigsten erscheinenden Gesichtspunkte an Hand der nachfolgenden Systematik besprochen. Chronische Instabilität ligamentärer Strukturen, Pseudarthrose, Arthrose, Fehlstellung und Teilverlust des Fußes. Die Behandlungsrichtlinien werden aufgezeigt, die Zielsetzung besteht in der Wiederherstellung der Funktion. Auf die Ergebnisse nach operativer Behandlung von Knöchelpseudarthrosen und nach Sprunggelenkarthrodesen wird eingegangen.

Summary The report discusses late results after dislocations and fractures of the ankle and foot. From this broad area the most important questions were discussed in terms of traumatic surgery: chronic ligamentous instability, pseudarthrosis, arthrosis, mal-position and partial loss of the foot. Principles of management are given with the objective of restoratión of function. Results of operative treatment of malleolar pseudarthrosis and of ankle fusion are given.
