Zusammenfassung Personal-Computer erlauben neue Wege der klinischen Dokumentation. Das vorgestellte Programm ermöglicht in Verbindung mit dem kommerziellen Datenbanksystem dBase III eine Datenerfassung mit simultanen Plausibilitätskontrollen direkt am Bildschirm. Tumorlokalisation, histologischer Befund, TNM-Klassifikation und durchgeführte Operationen werden automatisch codiert und zusammen mit den weiteren Basisdaten gespeichert. Eine Dokumentation der Nachsorgeuntersuchungen ist ebenfalls vorgesehen und kann beliebig fortgeschrieben werden. Die Daten sind jederzeit für eigene statistische Auswertungen verfügbar und können anonymisiert an ein überregionales Krebsregister transferiert werden.

Summary Personal computers make possible new methods of clinical documentation. In connection with the commercial data bank system, dBase III, the program presented permits the recording of data with simultaneous plausibility control right at the work station. Tumor localization, histological findings, TNM classification and the operations performed are coded automatically and stored with the other basic data. There is also a provision for documenting the follow-up examinations, which can be continued at well. The data can be used at any time to carry out your own statistical evaluations and can be transferred anonymously to a centralized cancer registry.
