Notizen: Abstract Certain ultrastructural characteristics of the ventricular myocardium ofRana ridibunda (lateral contacts, intercalated disks, mitochondria) were studied in the spring and fall by electron microscopy coupled with morphometric analysis. The results point to seasonal differences in the ultrastructure of the cardiomyocytes and the conclusion was confirmed by the results of quantitative analysis.
