Notes:
The design of a computer-automated capacitance-conductance bridge is described. The bridge operates in the frequency range 40 Hz–40 kHz with a resolution better than 0.1% at signal levels as low as 400 μV and is most useful for studying the complex impedance of nonlinear devices as a function of the test signal amplitude, frequency, and waveform. Of particular interest is the stability problem associated with feedback during the self-balancing process for the two impedance phases.
