    Notizen: The system of three 4He atoms interacting through the intermolecular potential HFDHE2 is solved exactly within the Faddeev scheme. We find that the trimer has two bound states at E=−0.11 K and E=−0.16(−2) K, where the excited state shows the property of an Efimov state. It is overrun by the two-body fragmentation threshold for an artificially enhanced overall interaction strength. Uncertainties in the potential parameters, possibly combined with solvent effects, may allow a slightly weaker force, which supports a second Efimov state. In any case dynamical effects of the Efimov states will be the same whether it lies close to E=0 on the physical or unphysical sheet.

    Notizen: For (1+1)-dimensional diffusion equations where the diffusion coefficient is an arbitrary power of the dependent variable, a Painlevé test is performed on both the partial differential equation and the similarity reductions. The invariance of the Painlevé property under a large class of similarity reductions is shown. For the reductions with the Painlevé property, the explicit similarity solutions are given. It is demonstrated how results of a Painlevé analysis can be used to obtain further exact similarity solutions, even in cases without the Painlevé property.

    Notizen: Abstract Using the shell-model approach to nuclear reactions, the Lippmann-Schwinger equation for elastic and inelastic nucléon scattering is solved numerically. The procedure is based upon an adaptation of a method due toWeinberg. The differential and total elastic and inelastic cross-sections and the asymmetry of the scattering of a transversally polarised beam of neutrons are calculated. The positions (energies and total widths) and residues (partial widths) of the scattering matrix in the complex plane are determined. The results are discussed and compared with previous treatments.

    Notizen: Zusammenfassung Es wird der Versuch unternommen, das Kollektivmodell für stabil deformierte Kerne auf die ersten sieben Anregungszustände von23Na anzuwenden. Es gelingt, die experimentellen Lagen der Niveaus gut wiederzugeben, die experimentellen Spins zu bestätigen und einige fehlende Spins vorauszusagen. Dazu werden vier Rotationsbanden vermischt und damit sämtliche tiefliegenden inneren Anregungsmöglichkeiten, die das Nilsson-Modell zuläßt, berücksichtigt. Die relativen Lagen derK-Banden und die Kopplungskonstanten können in ausreichender Weise dem Nilsson-Modell entnommen werden. Es wurde festgelegt durchμ=0,κ=0,07,η=4, $$\hbar \mathop \omega \limits^\bigcirc _0 = 41 \cdot A^{^{ - \frac{1}{3} } } MeV$$ . Bei der Anpassung wurde nur ein Trägheitsmoment benützt, das etwas kleiner ist als die hydrodynamische Abschätzung.

    Notizen: Abstract The formalism to include a three-nucleon force into three-nucleon continuum calculations is presented. First numerical results, obtained in momentum space, are shown. The two- and three-nucleon forces have been restricted to act only in the1 S 0 and3 S 1-3 D 1 partial-wave states. As two-nucleon interaction the Bonn-B potential and as three-nucleon interaction the Tucson-Melbourne two-pion exchange model has been used.

    Notizen: Abstract. The two-body T-matrix is calculated directly as function of two vector momenta for different Malfliet-Tjon-type potentials. At a few hundred MeV projectile energy the total amplitude is quite a smooth function showing only a strong peak in forward direction. In contrast, the corresponding partial-wave contributions, whose number increases with increasing energy, become more and more oscillatory with increasing energy. The angular and momentum dependence of the full amplitude is studied and displayed on as well as off the energy shell as function of positive and negative energies. The behaviour of the T-matrix in the vicinity of bound-state poles and resonance poles in the second energy sheet is studied. It is found that the angular dependence of T exhibits very characteristic properties in the vicinity of those poles, which are given by the Legendre function corresponding to the quantum number either of the bound state or the resonance (or virtual) state. This behaviour is illustrated along numerical examples.

    Notizen: Abstract The interaction of a nucleon with the deuteron leading to break-up at the quasi-free scattering (QFS) condition is studied atE N lab =12.0, 22.7, 68.0, and 140.0 MeV. Results of rigorous Faddeev calculations and of the impulse approximation (IA) are compared at these energies for bothn-p andp-p QFS in order to study the importance of rescattering terms. For the two-nucleon interaction the Paris potential is used. It is restricted to act in two-body states with total angular momentumj≤2. Also we compare the Faddeev calculations with experimental data for the QFS cross section and analyzing powerA y and find overall agreement. The behaviour of scattering observables turns out to be different forn-p andp-p QFS. Also the energy dependence of rescattering terms is different in the two cases. For all energies studied the IA is not reliable.
