    Notizen: Abstract The performed analysis fully supports the importance of the different residual interactions in the deformed nucleus for understanding the behaviour of the nuclear excited states. It was shown that the description of the nucleus, which considers simultaneously the pairing, multipole-multipole, Coriolis and δN=2 interactions, is able in the framework of the DWB A theory to explain the excitation of the states in the161Dy and163Dy nuclei in the one-neutron transfer reactions. The theory is not able to explain the behaviour and excitation of the states with the predominantly phonon character.

    Notizen: Abstract The influence of theΔN=2 interaction simultaneously with the Coriolis coupling on the structure of the Kπ = 1/2+ and 3/2+ rotational bands built on the mixed states originating mainly from the 1/2+[660], 1/2+[400], 3/2+[651] and 3/2+[402] Nilsson states is analysed. The pairing interaction is also considered. The cross section for the (d, p) reaction on162Dy and160Dy and for the (d, t) reaction on164Dy and162Dy nuclei are calculated and compared with experimental values. Many members of four strongly mixed rotational bands in161Dy and163Dy are identified in experimental proton and triton spectra.

    Notizen: Abstract Detailed study of the lowest states in the odd-odd160Tm and162Tm deformed nuclei and of corresponding electromagnetic transitions has been performed. In the theoretical analysis, performed within the framework of the “two-quasiparticle + rotor” model, the nondiagonal matrix elements of the residual p-n interaction have been included. Comparison of calculated energies and reduced transition probabilitiesB(XL) with experimental ones have proved importance of these matrix elements in the model calculations. More complex interpretation of the lowest states in both Tm nuclei has been achieved although some ambiguity has not been removed.

    Notizen: Abstract Four resonances in the55Mn(p, γ)56 Fe reaction at the centre-of-mass proton beam energy E P CM =1320, 1504, 1508 and 1649 keV were studied. Angular distributions for some strong γ-rays following the radiative decay of the resonances were measured and analysed in terms of the channel-spin formalism. Spin-parity assignmentI r π =3+, 4+ and 3+ was acquired for the 1320, 1504 and 1649 keV resonances, respectively. No definite assignment was established for the 1508 keV resonance and the resonance is assumed to be a very tight multiplet. Analysis of primary transitions to bound states of the Fe final nucleus permited us to assign these states. The 2+, 2+, 2+, 6+ and 4+ assignments were ascribed to the states at excitation energyE x =5705, 5303, 4738, 4692 and 4658 keV, respectively, while for the 5132 keV state ambiguous assignment 3+ or 4+ was found. Multipole mixing ratioδ was established for some primaries. The coupling of angular momenta of proton and target nucleus in the formation of the 3+ resonances was also roughly discussed.

    Notizen: Abstract The properties of the inelastic scattering of deuterons by the odd deformed nuclei155Gd,157Gd,167Er,233U and235U at the deuteron energy near the Coulomb barrier are examined. The expressive correlation between the transferred angular momentum and the average form of the angular distributions of the scattered deuterons is shown. A rough applicability of the simple DWBA theory for description of the (d, d′) transitions to the ground state rotational bands in the odd deformed isotopes is demonstrated. All deduced conclusions are fully based on the experimentally obtained results.

    Notizen: Abstract Excitation functions for the55Mn(p, p′ γ)55Mn,55Mn(p, n γ)55Fe and55Mn(p, γ)56Fe reactions are studied for proton beam energyE p=1·3–2 MeV. The excitation functions are established from yield functions for γ-rays emitted from the first excited states of final nuclei. Many resonances are observed and competition of their decay into all three output channels is analysed. Spin-parity assignment for some resonant states in the56Fe compound nucleus is deduced.

    Notizen: Abstract Radiative decay of 21 resonances in the 55Mn(p, γ)56Fe reaction was studied in the proton beam energy region E p = (1.3−1.8) MeV. Branching of decay to many low lying bound states up to excitation energy E x ≍ 8 MeV was measured. Exact energy of all resonances has been established, what pointed out that five of the resonances are very close doublets. For all studied resonances their spin-parity characteristics were determined. Assignment of some resonances as isobaric analogues of the states in the 56Mn nucleus was discussed and short note about energy systematics of isobaric analogue resonances was given.
