Conclusions 1. The generation of radiation in a complex system consisting of a material with intense SpRS lines and generating-dye molecules, situated in a common resonator due to connectedness over the field, occurs at the peak amplification frequencies of the system as a whole. 2. With a favorable disposition of the scattered-light lines and amplification and generation band of a dye solution, the emission spectrum of a composite system contains systems of SpRS lines of the substance, which do not as a rule appear in the StRS spectrum. 3. A purpose-designed system makes it possible to obtain an active medium with a lower generation threshold than those exhibited by its individual components; such a system gives a narrow (narrower than 1 cm−1) generation line.
