Notes: „Dihydro-Bowieasubstanz-G-acetat“ wurde zu einem Ätiansäuremethylester abgebaut, der durch Smp., Misch-Smp., Farbreaktion und IR.-Spektrum mit 3β, 19-Diacetoxy-14β-oxy-allo-ätiansäure-methylester identifiziert wurde. Dies beweist, dass „Bowieasubstanz G“ das Genin von Bovosid A ist. Die früher verwendeten Bezeichnungen „Bowieasubstanz G“, „Dihydro-Bowieasubstanz G“ und „Dihydro-Bowieasubstanz-G-acetat“ sind deshalb durch die Bezeichnungen Bovogenin A, Bovogenol A und Bovogenol-A-diacetat zu ersetzen.
