    Description / Table of Contents: The thermal dissociation 3 UO2F2 + UF6 + 1/3 O2 has been investigated between 760 and 800°C by the KNUDSEN effusion method. From the amount of uranium oxide formed during the reaction the dissociation constant has been calculated to be 4.575 log K = 90740/T + 62.36. Besides dissoziation, evaporation of UO2F2 takes place with a vapour presure of the order 0.01 to 0.1 Torr in the temperature range investigated.
    Notes: Die thermische Dissoziation 3 UO2F2 = 1/3 U3O8 + UF6 + 2/3 O2 wird zwischen 760 und 800°C mit der KNUDSENSchen Effusionsmethode untersucht. Aus der Menge gebildeten Uranoxids wird die Dissoziationskonstante zu 4,575 · log K = 90740/T + 62,36 berechnet. Neben der Zersetzung findet eine Verdampfung von UO2F2 statt; der Dampfdruck liegt zwischen 0,01 und 0,1 Torr bei 760 bis 800°C.
