Notes: A number of resin copolymers have been prepared by condensing some substituted acetophenones with chloro-substituted anilines, benzoic acids, and formaldehyde. The reactivity ratios of the monomers have been computed by using the Kelen-Tüdos equation. The results have been discussed taking into account the inductive, resonance, and steric effects of the substituents.
