ZusammenfaBung 148 aortofemorale Bifurkationsprothesen wurden mit einem rechtBeitigen extraperitonealen Zugang eingepflanzt.ErgebniBe: Der Vorteil des Verfahrens ist ein vermindertes intra- und postoperatives Risiko, aber auch die Grenzen werden deutlich. Als typische Komplikationen gelten der VerschluB des linken Prothesenschenkels sowie die Verletzungsgefahr für den rechten Ureter. Wichtigste Kontraindikationen sind hohe AortenverschlüBe und infrarenale Aortenaneurysmen. Diese Rekonstruktionstechnik erlaubt eine Ausweitung der Indikation.

Summary In 148 cases an aorta-femoral bifurcated by-paB was implanted with right-side extraperitoneal approach. The advantage of this procedure is lower risk during and after operation, but the limits of this method show up eventually. Occlusion of the left thigh graft and injury of the right ureter are typical complications. Most important contraindications are high aortic occlusions and infrarenal aortic aneurysms. This reconstructive technique allows the indication to be enlarged.
