Notes: Enantiomeric resolution of dansyl amino acids by microcolumn liquid chromatography with γ-cyclodextrin as a mobile phase additive has been investigated. The separation factor for the enantiomers increased with increasing γ-cyclodextrin concentration as well as with decreasing acetonitrile concentration in the mobile phase. The present method was successful for the resolution of twelve dansyl amino acid enantiomeric pairs.
