Phosphino- and Arsinoketenes - Novel Ligands in Transition Metal ComplexesThe first synthesis of phosphorus and arsenic substituted ketenes and its stabilization as novel ligands in transition metal complexes (2a - 5b) succeeded on reacting η2-ketenyl complexes η5-C5H5(CO)[P(CH3)3]W[η2-C(R)CO] (1a, 1b) with alkyl- or arylhalogenphosphanes and -arsanes. This addition-rearrangement reaction proceeds at least in case of the phosphorus substituted representatives via isolable intermediates, where the phosphinoketenes act as η3-ligands.
    Notes: Die Synthese phosphor- und arsensubstituierter Ketene und deren Stabilisierung als neuartige Liganden in Übergangsmetallkomplexen (2a - 5b) gelang durch Umsetzung von η2-Ketenylkomplexen η〈5-C5H5(CO)[P(CH3)3]W[η〈2-C(R)CO] (1a, 1b) mit Alkyl- oder Arylhalogenphosphanen bzw. -arsanen. Diese Additions-Umlagerungsreaktionen verlaufen zumindest im Fall der phosphorsubstituierten Vertreter über isolierbare Zwischenstufen, in welchen die Phosphinoketene als Hünig3-Liganden fungieren.
