A report is given about azo compounds examined as crop protection agents. Sodium P-dimethylamino-phenyldiazo sulphonate is usable as a seed and soil treating agent against seedling diseases. Dimethylamino-Phenylazocarbonamide and similar compounds are highly active against Phytophthora species.

Es wird über Azoverbindungen berichtet, die als Pflanzenschutzmittel geprüft wurden. Das p-dimethylamino-phenyldiazosulfosaure Natrium ist als Beiz- und Bodenbehandlungsmittel gegen Auflaufkrankheiten brauchbar; Dimethylamino-phenylazocarbonamid und ähnliche Verbindungen sind gegen Phytophthora-Arten hochwirksam.
