Notes: Es wird eine Mikrosynthese von 14C-markiertem 2-Methyl-4-amino-5-aminomethyl-pyrimidin (I) hoher spezif. Aktivität, ausgehend von Bariumcarbonat-14C (23 mC/mMol), beschrieben. I wird von Pilzen, die B1-autotroph, Pyrimidin-, Thiazol- und Pyrimidin + Thiazol-bedürftig sind, in Vitamin B1 eingebaut. Es ist anscheinend eine Zwischenverbindung bei der Biosynthese dieses Vitamins.
