Halogenoethers, IV. Interaction Between α-Chloroethers and ThiiranesThe reaction of thiiranes 4 with α-chloroethers 5 forming S-[β-chloro-alkyl]-monothioacetals 6 is investigated. From the interaction between 5 and unsymmetrical thiiranes 8 the existence of an intermediate with episulfonium structure may be concluded.

Die Reaktion von Thiiranen 4 mit α-Chloräthern 5 zu S-[β-Chlor-alkyl]-monothioacetalen 6 wird untersucht. Aus der Umsetzung von 5 mit unsymmetrischen Thiiranen 8 läßt sich auf eine Zwischenstufe mit Episulfonium-Struktur schließen.
