Photoreactions of 4,6-Dimethylbenzofuran-2,3-dione4,6-Dimethylbenzofuran-2,3-dione reacts photochemically with cyclohexene, ethyl vinyl ether and 2-methyl-2-butene to give oxetanes and hydrogen abstraction products, respectively. UV measurements and some results concerning thermal reactions of benzofurandiones are described.

4,6-Dimethylbenzofuran-2,3-dion reagiert bei Bestrahlung mit Cyclohexen, Äthylvinyläther und 2-Methyl-2-buten unter Bildung von Oxetanen und Photoreduktionsprodukten. Über UV-Messungen und einige thermische Reaktionen mit Benzofurandionen wird berichtet.
