Mass Spectrometric Investigations on the Systems MCl2/AlCl3 (M = Cr, Co, Pd)The reactions MCl2,s + Al2Cl6,g = MAl2Cl8,g (M = Cr, Co, Pd) have been investigated by a double-oven evaporation cell in connection with mass spectrometric analysis. All Ions, containing both, M and Al, have under our conditions one neutral percusor, the molecule MAl2Cl8,g. The evaluated equilibrium constants agree with literature data.

Mit Hilfe einer Doppelzellenanordnung in Verbindung mit einem Massenspektrometer wurden die Reaktionen MCl2,f + Al2Cl6,g = MAl2Cl8,g (M = Cr, Co, Pd) untersucht. Die Analyse der Massenspektren ergab, daß bei unseren Versuchsbedingungen praktisch alle gleichzeitig M- und Al-haltigen Ionen auf die neutralen Gasmolekeln MAl2Cl8,g zurückzuführen sind. Die ermittelten Gleichgewichtskonstanten stimmen befriedigend mit Literaturangaben überein.
