Zusammenfassung Die Glutathionreductase menschlicher Leukocyten und Thrombocyten wurde durch FAD im optischen Test nicht aktiviert, sondern durch steigende FAD-Konzentrationen zunehmend gehemmt. Im Gegensatz dazu erfuhr das Enzym in Erythrocyten der gleichen Probanden eine normale Aktivierung.

Summary The glutathione reductase of human leukocytes and thrombocytes was not activated by FAD in the optic test. The enzyme was inhibited by 1.8×10−6 M and higher concentrations of FAD. By contrast, normal enzyme activation by FAD was observed in the erythrocytes from the same subjects.
